Celebrating (the first) Ten Years of Freedom Archives

Posted on November 6th, 2009 in AK Allies, Happenings

Hey folks,

Mark your calendars and make it out to the Freedom Archives 10 Year Anniversary Party Wednesday, November 11th in San Francisco. Claude and the Freedom Archives crew have shown AK Press a lot of solidarity over the years and a bunch of us will be celebrating with them next week.

As you all probably know, AK has co-published numerous projects with Freedom Archives, for all of those and the other great CDs, DVDs, and books produced by Freedom Archives, click here.

Anita Johnson from Hard Knock Radio will be MC’ing and DJ’s Sake-1 and Emancipation will be spinning records.

The party goes from 7:30pm to 2:00am at 33 Ritch Street, SF. It’s a FUNdraiser so bring some cash for the door, the bar, the silent auction, and raffle tickets. “No one turned away for lack of funds,” as usual, but don’t be an ass—your support really does help groups like Freedom Archives thrive. Suggested donations are $5–$50.

See you there!
